Powder Coating Process
The powder coating application is an interesting process, which involves the following steps to provide a professional finish:
- Meeting the customer to determine which processes are needed, i.e., dis-assembling, grinding, welding, and so on
- Discussing the color options - whether zinc primer is required (to prevent rusting)
- Materials sandblasted in-house and then pressure washing it with a mild acid for additional adhesion
- Drying the materials in the oven
- Powder coating and then baking them at 400 degrees, after cooling product is ready for service.
